The short story by Swiss writer Claude Cueni is about the secret (co-)protagonist of the drama about the famous 1930s us-gangster couple Bonnie and Clyde: their car, the Ford V8 Deluxe Fordor Sedan.

In two later-woven-into-itself storylines, it tells how the vehicle, initially owned by a wealthy middle-class couple, is getting stolen by Bonnie and Clyde, they are eventually apprehended and shot in the vehicle by the g-men, and where it ultimately ends up today, in Las Vegas.

In der Kurzgeschichte des Schweizer Schriftstellers Claude Cueni geht es um den heimlichen (Mit-)Hauptdarsteller um des (realen) Dramas um das berühmte US-Gangsterpärchen der 1930er Jahre Bonnie und Clyde: um ihr Auto, den Ford V8 Deluxe Fordor Sedan.

In zwei später-in-sich-verwebenen-Handlungesträngen wird erzählt, wie das Fahrzeug, zunächst m Besitz eines wohlhabenden Mittelständler-Ehepaars, von Bonnie und Clyde frech geklaut wird, sie in dem Fahrzeug schließlich von den Gesetzeshütern gestellt und erschossen werden und wo es schlussendlich heute gelandet ist, in Las Vegas.
